NBCs Heroes

Hello, SciFi Fans!

Did you catch the season finale of Heroes? Intense! If you haven't seen it, there is no excuse. You can watch it online for free here .

But hurry, they take it down in a week or so. After that you can buy it on iTunes, here's my dad’s credit card number, I'm sure he won't mind: {Deleted by Editor}

****** Spoiler Alert ******

Here's how it all went down and who's dead and who's alive and who's mostly alive.

My Hero, Hiro

Hiro, my hero lives! He saved Ando and stabbed Sylar just before he was about to kill Peter. Sylar knocked him back to 15th century Japan. He could be killed at the beginning of next season's show, but I don't think so.
Heroic rating: A+

Hero Matt the Mind-Reading Cop

Matt Parkman. Nooooo! He's mostly dead. He saved Molly (a little girl with the power to Mapquest other heroes), and that was very heroic. But he went Lethal Weapon on Sylar and that was brave but dumb. Sylar sent the bullets back into his chest. He might be wearing a bullet-proof vest, so he might be alive. When they put him in the ambulance, he wasn't in a body bag, so there's hope. But I hear he's friends with the producer and he only got the job because they worked together on Felicity, so I think he's dead.
Heroic rating: A-

Claire the Industructible Cheerleader

Claire. Alive. The one thing she was asked to do, she didn't do. That is so typical of cheerleaders! Never have them on any dance committees if you can help it. She was too much of a wimp to kill Peter when he asked her to. (And she could have just killed him long enough to stop the melt down, so he wouldn't even really be dead.) Talk about blowing it, she got her father killed. (I guess she can be on Lost now.) Luckily she has a spare dad hanging around.

Heroic rating: C+
Nathan the flying future president

Nathan Petrelli. Blowed up dead, when he swooped in at the last minute and took Peter up into the sky. He was all like, "you can't change destiny," when he was around his mom, but then came in to save the day. It made him very presidential, but too bad he can't run anymore. Plus, like I said, Peter wouldn’t have really died if Claire shot him so he pretty much got himself killed for nothing which is stupid. Still . . .
Heroic rating: A+

Peter the Rouge Power Stealer

Peter Petrelli. Probably alive. Why didn't Peter fly himself (or teleport, or time travel, or make a telekinesis force field)? I don't know. Maybe he can only use one power at a time. But he didn't even try, so that's kind of stupid. And he was the bomb, which isn’t very heroic. OTOH, he took on Sylar and that has to be scary.
Heroic rating: A

Niki the hero hooker

Nikki Sanders. Alive. She knocked out holodeck girl, saved Micah and Micah's dad and clobbered Sylar with a parking meter when Peter needed it most, so I'll have to give her points for that. But she took too long to stand up to Jessica, so I can't give her an A+
Heroic rating: A-

Micah the 21st Century Digital Boy

Micah. Alive, but I don't think they'd kill a kid so I wasn't too worried. Mostly got in the way. Started an elevator, big deal.
Heroic rating: C-

D.L. can walk through walls

D.L. Not Dead, I think. He was walking around at the end. He took a bullet for Nikki/Jessica and killed Linderman by putting his fist in his brain (groooossss!). So that was very heroic.
Heroic rating: A

Mohinder the power of Exposition!

Mohinder. Not dead. He saved the little girl Molly with his blood and from being shot by Claire’s dad . And he stopped to help D.L. even though they were trying to get away from the bad guys which is pretty heroic, especially considering he has no super power! I guess I can even forgive his boring narration.
Heroic rating: A

Sylar the boogie man!

Sylar. Not dead! A trail of blood showed he slithered down into the sewer (where he belongs!). So I'm sure he'll be back ripping people's heads off next season. Plus, he can still totally blow up anything he wants with Ted’s power. I wish he were dead. I wanted to get a horse someday, and when I got that horse I was going to name him Skylar! Now that name is ruined for me just because it rhymes with Sylar! Die, Sylar, Die!

Julia Robert's Brother

Thompson, bad guy played by Julia Roberts’ brother (no really! They don't speak to each other now, because he was mean to her when they were kids, just like me and my brother!). Anyway, dead. Shot by Claire’s dad (the one in glasses). Might not be dead if he has a super power to take a bullet to the brain, which is a good power to have if you are super villain.

I can't wait until next year! The summer is so long! But I hear they are coming out with some Hero specials and comic books and that should hold me over.

Until next time, YFF, Cindy
