Ask him anything and he'll answer from the depth of his parent's basement. There isn't a question about science fiction or fantasy TV he can't answer.

Dear SciFi Guy:
I'm trying to remember a fantasy show that starred that one guy from that other show, where he was married to that woman from that one show set in space. It's driving me nuts, what was the name of that show!?
Confused82

Dear confused 82:
That show was "Hello, Larry," and wasn't really a fantasy show, even though it tried to make a star out of McLean Stevenson.

Dear SciFi Guy:
I remember a show about talking hats, am I crazy? Did that show really exist? I did a lot of drugs in the seventies, and I worked in a hat store, so maybe it was an hallucination or a bad promotional video for the store.
C. Cuse

Dear C:

There have been many TV series about talking hats, it was a very popular genre in the seventies. Your are probably remembering the Saturday Morning Sid & Marty Kroft extravaganza, "Lidsville," or "The Waltons," which featured a talking hat as a reoccurring character.

Dear SciFi Guy:
What's the greatest science fiction series ever made?
J. Wheadon

Dear J:
It was a brilliant series that lasted only half a season and yet redefined science fiction television. Part space opera and part western, it featured clever scripts and an amazingly talented cast. It was killed by Network suits because it was TOO brilliant and made all other TV look bad.  I am, of course, talking about "Galactica 1980."

Next to Wilma, Twiggy was my favorite character on Buck Rogers. You don't hear much about him anymore.

After becoming rich from starring in a hit TV series, he married a cylon (a number 6, lucky bastard). He later changed his name to Gary Coleman and starred in Different Strokes. But a cocaine habit and gambling debts took their toll and he was sold to a scifi collector who traded him for a pair of Spock ears and pair of Brent Spiner's Starfleet socks. No one knows where he is today.
