Battlestar Blues!

Sorry I’ve been gone so long, SciFi fans. My mother took away my Internet privileges for a month because she caught me viewing age-inappropriate videos on YouTube. (She would be even more mad if she figured out I was the one who posted them!) They were just clips from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, which I think is even PG. But Frankenfurter looks just like my school’s principal and I had to show it to all my friends (plus I think Meatloaf is our new bus driver!).

The Olden Days

Noel Neill and George ReevesI just got back from spending the holidays at my Grandma and Grandpa’s house. (Thanks for the sweater and the gift card, Grandma and Grandpa, if you’re reading this by the way!) I had a good time but the visit really made me appreciate how lucky I am to be born when I was, which is a good thing I guess. I have access to modern conveniences my grandparents never dreamed of when they were my age, not to mention the science fiction is better – and better looking!

Angel Cartwright Not DeadThe trouble with becoming a fan of old TV shows is that a lot of the stars are dead now, and that’s a bummer. And this time of year they always bring out the list of people who died. (It’s the only part of the Oscars that makes me cry!).
